WYNDHAM GRAND JUPITER WEDDINGS
[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ere is why I love Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings… First, I am going to talk about the venue and then I am going to tell you a little about the challenges that this couple faced before their wedding day. Now, if you spend any time on my blog and read all through the posts you will learn a hell of a lot about me, photography, and possibly learn a thing or two about weddings. I very much use my blog as a “tool” to educate, and inspire both clients and photographers. When it comes to Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings, the experience is on another level then that of your typical wedding venue and in fact I will go out on the limb and say *most* wedding venues. The reason is because [perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]the Wyndham Grand Jupiter does an incredible job at making the wedding logistics very, very easy to manage. [/perfectpullquote]
It does this through the design, and layout of the hotel. From a “creative” standpoint there are three amazing places to do the first look. One is inside, and two are outside. There are a ton of incredible places for styled shots to take place. The main lobby is never that busy. Valet is never busy. There is a dock, with luxury boats docked out back, which make for nice shots. There are several restaurants within a 1min walk outside the main door. They have a beautiful terrace for the ceremonies, and a grand ball room that can accommodate a whole lot of people! It’s almost as if they consulted a photographer then they designed the layout. I really love that, and this is one of the main reasons I love Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings.
[perfectpullquote align=”left” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]The other, and ultimately most important reason I love Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings is because of the people. [/perfectpullquote]
THIS is what makes all the difference in the world. I am specifically speaking about Jennifer Timpano who works in the wedding sales office. If you have a wedding here, you will be speaking with her and I will tell you this.. SHE is incredible to work with.. and let me be very specific so that nothing is lost within subjectivity. Jennifer is quick, understanding, and goes above and beyond what the client expects. The fact that she is sweet, and takes care of the vendors very well is just an added bonus. SO when you have a venue that has this type of layout, this level of accommodation, and then add in really, truly great people like Jennifer you then have what I would say is a sure win for the wedding day, and this buys you more then just great results.. it buys you peace of mind.
So that summarizes why I love Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings, and this will always be one of my fav. wedding locations. Period.
Now.. remember hurricane Irma? That was a serious storm, and this is the wedding that was effected by it. They called me a days before the storm hit, and understandably had to reschedule it. They worried I would have some hidden fee, or policy etc.. and I said “of course not, it’s okay and I understand. I just want everyone to be safe”. So, I gave them a list of open dates.. and they picked a new wedding date based on that 🙂 It was the right thing to do, and what I would do for anyone else too.
I’ll tell you this.. I’m glad the wedding was changed to a new date.. because as you will see below, we had some nice sunny weather and that was perfect for all of the pictures!
The last thing I want to say is this.. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but all of the Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings that I have shot (four of them) have been the nicest, most appreciative people I have ever met. They say “birds of a feather flock together” This is very true, and I think this venue attracts the right kinda people. Jamie, Justin.. you both were incredable to work with and I truly felt like part of the family. YOU allowed me to be.. well.. me, and this is always were the best results will come from, and I think this blog post is a good example of just that. Thank you so much, and I wish you both the very best!

I’ll ah, go ahead and start this post off right here (above) with the “sky bridge” at the hotel. When you think about Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings.. this is one of the iconic spots for shots. In my case, I took the time to calculate when the best time would be so that I had directional light to work with for both the first look and styled shots like this one.Let’s be honest.. is there really anything better then a sexy pair of Christian Louboutin’s?The necklaces was her “something blue” and also belonged to her grand mother. Beautiful. Funny enough, I noticed the blue pillows in the room and used them to help accent / frame this shot. This was the first picture that the bride posted on social media.. LOL.. so, I assumed she loved it. All the girls together in the robes. Can’t go wrong. Now, with the type of dress that Jamie had there really was no “zipping” or “fixing” it just come with face mask labels. This dress was about as sexy as you could possibly get, and is from my personal fav. bridal designer in the world. BERTA. I have been a long time fan of their dresses, and this one was stunning! and.. I MEAN stunning 😉I love the shoe selection with this dress. Sexy, and so elegant all at the same time. This is real class and an inspiration for many other brides I am sure. That head piece was out of this world, and was provide by The real Twigs & Honey.I realize that the bride Jamie is the show stopper here.. but, Justin is a class act all within his own. I loved the unique jacket he had, and how the painting in the back even matched it.I got this quick shot of mom during the first look! So sweet, she looks so happy. WOW. Just.. WOW. BERTA dresses! Enough said.I see this as a magazine cover in my head. Here we have some interesting lit shots. What you don’t know is that the lighting is coming from my studio light camera left hidden behind the wall. There is just no shortage of stunning places to take shots, and again.. is why I love Wyndham Grand Jupiter Weddings!I LOVE going from natural light, to my powerful lighting while on location. I am able to quickly get a verity of different looks to my photography and this is very unique to me.Yes we do all the “formal shots” but.. we also have a good time and joke around. 😉Brides mom & dad. Here dad actually got on stage and performed a surprise song for the couple!!
The end 🙂
Until next time….
What they say is true… your wedding day truly does fly by! Way too quickly infact, that all you can hope for in the days after is to re-live your wedding day through moments captured by the photographer. Travis captured our day so perfectly, that all we keep hearing is that- it was our joy, and love for one another that really shined through his beautiful work. That is a talent of relatability and creativity that is imperative for a photographer to possess, and Travis has just that. Even with excessive planning, things on your wedding day can get mixed up, out of order, and pop up last minute. Travis handled each of these pop ups withe ease, adapted immediately to the situation, and was still able to capture these moments perfectly! From my dad popping in and seeing me unexpectedly, adding family shots we had forgotten to warn him about, to our dog (who we just HAD to have in photos) arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony — Travis took the bull by the horns and made it all seem planned. Justin and I had such a great time working with you Travis, we love the outcome and are excited to get our prints on the walls!
