With all of the gimmicky Quince Photos in Miami that I see, it's hard to tell what is real, and what is just.. "special effects" added on after the fact.
This specific Quince Photo I took in Miami, at nighttime in the city, in the middle of the road, and it is 100% real, and 100% made IN THE CAMERA!
It was raining, it was late, and I wanted to try something different. We setup the tripod and set the camera to a really slow shutter speed, and waited for the next few cars to pass. (this is the effect that you see here).
It took several tries, but I finally got the result that we were after. It was not a quick, or easy shot to take.. but it was totally worth it, and right after this shot we all went to get burgers together (daughter, mom, me and my assistant) and all we could do is look at the back of my camera!
So, I do take pride in being a "real" photographer and I don't show things that I need to then "fix", alter, or enhance to make impressive. I think this is the main advantage to hiring me over someone else (beyond the shots themselves of course). Things are very consistent!
