I can't even begin to tell you how much I love Miami Biltmore Hotel Weddings. Walking through the lobby at the Biltmore Hotel, and I see all the bell hops standing around not doing anything. I instantly spring into action, and put them to work for this unique stylized shot. I am using a remote flash in the background to pull more detail from behind Leslie, and the main light is just the natural ambient light from outdoors. But for this shot, it's not just the lighting that makes this incredible... it's the concept. You really need to know just how fitting this shot was for Leslie (and I am sure many other brides). Leslie is VERY specific with everything, and I wanted to use that to my advantage for a shot that I knew she and David would relate with. What better way then to put three men attending to her every need. I added David to the shot for "icing on the cake" off to the side looking at his watch. This made this concept perfect, and it also filled the frame (camera left). The last detail was to have Leslie look off camera, and not make any contact with anyone in the shot. This promotes the fact that she is just "too busy" to deal with anything in front of her and I think came out perfect!
