Villa del Balbianello, is without any doubt one of the most impressive places you can possibly see in Lake Como, Italy. It is an Iconic estate, and venue for many high end luxury weddings. I was so lucky, and honored to have had the chance to shoot in this stunning place with my clients on their wedding day. We did a bunch of styled images the day before the wedding here, as well as a "first look" and although some of the logistics were VERY tricky at this location (see my full blog post, and trip vlog video link below) it was totally worth it!
In this shot, I have noticed the sun was getting lower in the sky (not sunset.. but about 1hr before hand). It was lighting the lake, the trees, and mountains perfectly. I HAD to get a shot with them! So, by using my powerful off camera flash I was able to do just that. I also had the brides mom help, and hold the veil off to the right.
