{"id":5672,"date":"2015-11-04T14:35:10","date_gmt":"2015-11-04T14:35:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thp.goodgallery.com\/blog\/?p=5672"},"modified":"2023-11-27T16:12:57","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T16:12:57","slug":"miami-commercial-photographers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/miami-commercial-photographers\/","title":{"rendered":"MIAMI COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS | MODERN LUXURY BRIDES MAGAZINE | EDITORIAL SHOOT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[dropcap]I[\/dropcap] have talked about how shooting some commercial photography projects are\u00a0a good thing for me, my abilities, and my brand over in <a href=\"https:\/\/thp.goodgallery.com\/blog\/commercial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my commercial gallery<\/a>. \u00a0Today was another example of that on this commercial \/ editorial photoshoot in Miami, FL at the beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.villabagatellemiamibeach.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Villa Bagatelle Hotel<\/a> for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modernluxury.com\/brides-south-florida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Modern Luxury Brides Magazine<\/a>. \u00a0Because I have some of my weddings\u00a0published in this magazine already, and have the relationships in place I became\u00a0an easy choice when the editor in chief was looking for <a href=\"https:\/\/thp.goodgallery.com\/blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Miami Commercial Photographers<\/a> to shoot\u00a0a story involving four girls having fun, getting ready to party. \u00a0The assignment was to simply capture them laughing, having fun, drinking, etc. and I was up for the job!<\/p>\n<p>MLB, I can&#8217;t thank you enough for having myself, and my assistant Jorge\u00a0join you on this incredibly fun shoot! \u00a0I look forward to more projects in the future!<\/p>\n<p>TH<\/p>\n<p>Here (above) is a &#8220;behind the scenes&#8221; direction and am shooting from a far to try and compress the background as much as possible, and to give them more room to interact naturally. \u00a0The Sun, played a role in all the shots and was placed behind them at all times. \u00a0In this shot (above) the sun was providing a nice separation for the two girls camera right.. and then I added in my own &#8220;sun&#8221; LOL camera left to balance out the frame.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5675\" src=\"https:\/\/thp.goodgallery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-002.jpg\" alt=\"Miami-Commercial-Photographers-002\" width=\"980\" height=\"653\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-002.jpg 980w, https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-002-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-002-100x67.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/>In this shot, the sun had gone down and I was standing on a table (see video) looking more downward. \u00a0I needed to do this, because of the railing that was blocking my view. \u00a0The pool deck was tricky, with lots of lines, and distractions but this one ended up working very well, and looks totally natural even though it&#8217;s not. \u00a0Camera left, I have a large octa bank in close to provide the lighting to all four subjects.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5676\" src=\"https:\/\/thp.goodgallery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-003.jpg\" alt=\"Miami-Commercial-Photographers-003\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-003.jpg 980w, https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-003-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-003-100x56.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/>This shot (above), I have removed the main light, re-set my camera for the ambient&#8230; and then used my &#8220;rim&#8221; light (for separation) to create the highlight\u00a0form the camera right position. \u00a0This, was my personal fav. shot from the shoot\u00a0as I liked the softer look, and again very natural interactions.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5677\" src=\"https:\/\/thp.goodgallery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-004.jpg\" alt=\"Miami-Commercial-Photographers-004\" width=\"980\" height=\"653\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-004.jpg 980w, https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-004-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/travisharris.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/04-5672-post\/Miami-Commercial-Photographers-004-100x67.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/>Lastly, we have this shot (above). \u00a0This was a more dynamic look, and I created a &#8220;layered&#8221;
