This (to me) is the most meaningful part of any wedding day. The more life I live, the more I understand all of this. As an example, I can only dream of what this moment will be like for my own son one day. Even though I won’t be walking him down the aisle, I will be sitting in a chair in the front crying (and I will probably have to tell whatever photographer there is at that time to make damn sure and catch it). LOL. Here, you see Nick and his daughter Samantha. This was the second daughter’s wedding that I have shot, and it was a real honor to be apart of this one. I have also included a small spread from the album to show the reaction of the groom (Tyler). This is very important, and is some “story telling” at it’s best. Ironically, this is the shot (grooms emotion) that I NEVER got from my own wedding day, and that was very upsetting. While the photographer was very good, he never thought to turn, and look at me during this moment. I am shocked that a lot of photographers miss this moment… they are ALL focused on the bride. I watch everyone, and I move fast to capture what actually happens. You can see their complete wedding here.
